Molly Taylor was destined to race having grown up in a motorsport family. Afterall all, her mother is four-time Australian Rally Champion co-driver Coral Taylor.
While still at school, Molly was offered a car to compete in some local motorkhanas, eventually going on to win the class and finish ninth outright. Molly's journey in motorsport was beginning and her passion for rallying grew.
Molly has achieved many milestones in her racing career; the first female driver to achieve a podium position in the Junior World Rally Championship, finishing third in the illustrious Rally Finland – the fastest event in the WRC – and two years later, becoming the first female (and at the time, youngest ever) driver to win the Australian Rally Championship.
Perhaps one of her proudest achievements was being awarded the 2015 Peter Brock Medal, one of the most prestigious awards in Australian motorsport.
In recent years, Molly has won a legion of new fans through her appearance on Seven Network’s SAS Australia, and her success in off-roading events including the Dakar Rally and Extreme E Championship, where she was crowned winner in the inaugural season.
Molly Taylor continues to make waves in motorsport, contributing to various motorsport broadcasts, including the star role in Supercheap Auto's Best Performing Oils campaign 'Country Club Chaos’.
Molly joined the Supercheap Auto family as a brand ambassador in 2023.
