These flywheels are commonly used in performance applications where weight and strength are critical. Xtreme Clutch recommends inspecting your old flywheel for cracks or significant wear when replacing your clutch kit. Single-mass flywheels must be resurfaced if being reused and should be checked to ensure correct specifications including flywheel step.
