The purpose of a flasher relay is to control the flash rate of the indicators in a vehicle; this consistent flashing of the directional indicator is achieved by an interruption of electric current in the indicator circuit. Each electronic flasher is load sensitive, meaning that if a bulb is to fail, the flash rate of the indicators increase to inform the user that a bulb is broken and no longer part of the circuit. Each Tridon 12V Flasher Relay conforms to ADR13 and is suitable for all vehicles in the Australian Vehicle Parc.
