Oil filters can tighten as your engine heats up and cools down, as a result an oil filter wrench may be required to remove it. This ToolPRO Strap Style Oil Filter Wrench will easily remove filters ranging up to 150mm in diameter. Simply wrap the strap around the filter and rotate the shank anti-clockwise to take up the slack, attach a 1/2" ratchet or breaker bar and turn anti clockwise. Increasing pressure will cause the strap to tighten ensuring you have maximum grip.
