The SCA CV Joint Grease Tube 100G is formulated specifically for constant velocity joints, which operate under boundary lubrication conditions requiring superior EP (extreme pressure) and solid lubricant content compared to standard automotive greases. SCA CV Joint Grease uses a synergistic blend of molybdenum disulphide and graphite solids to protect CV joint knuckles from the torque loads and shock loading that modern high-performance vehicles impose.
The grease's higher polymer and tackifier content ensures a tenacious film of lubricant clings to the knuckle rather than being flung off by centrifugal forces, and resists water washout should the boot tear or be exposed to moisture. NLGI 2 consistency suits the mixed friction and oscillating movements of CV joints, delivering long-term protection against wear and corrosion.
