The Oricom MX500 is a full powered 5 Watt transmission power output VHF marine radio suitable for use in marine environments. These radios are built to suit New Zealand conditions and are rated to a IP67 waterproof rating, the unit will also float and flash to provide easy location and retrieval. Featuring a backlit display this unit is super easy to read in a variety of conditions, and the keypad lock to prevent changing settings when not required. The unit complies with international standards and frequencies.
