The Dremel VersaTip is the ideal soldering torch for people engaged in creative and detailed projects that require precision and versatility. It offers cordless convenience for use anywhere and at any time. The cordless 6-in-1 gas torch is the perfect tool for soldering, melting, shrinking, pyrography, hot cutting, paint removing and more. The only soldering iron that combines a multitude of applications in one tool, thanks to its ability to use 6 interchangeable tips. With 6 different tips, you can solder, melt, cut, weld, remove and even shrink a wide range of materials. Instructions for which tip to use for each application is specified in the included manual.
The Dremel VersaTip runs on ordinary lighter gas fuel (also known as butane gas) and has a tank capacity of 17ml/9g (giving you 30-60 minutes of run time). An open flame can be created by removing the tip, which reaches 1200°C. The flame control slider lets you select the right temperature for your project. Integrated ignition trigger with safety lock for prevention of accidental ignition and easy start up, no independent ignition tool required.
