Castrol TRANSMAXTQ 95 automatic transmission fluid is designed specifically for use in electronically controlled BTR Engineering/DSI 4-speed automatic transmissions. Suitable for use in Ford Falcon and Fairlane vehicles with 4-speed transmissions as well as some SsangYong models.
Castrol TRANSMAX TQ 95 offers extensive protection from wear on gear-sets and components while providing excellent viscosity stability to ensure consistent shift feel. Castrol have stabilised and tailored the friction characteristics of TQ 95 to suit BTR/DSI electronic transmissions. This is important to note as generally, electronically controlled transmissions require fluids with stable friction and viscosity characteristics compared to hydraulic transmissions.
