Car Builders 6mm Insul-Layer is a lightweight thermal acoustic barrier. It is a closed cell rubber that is an effective decoupling layer to isolate noise and vibrations. Car Builders Insul-Layer is crush and tear resistant with a peel and stick backing. The closed cell rubber foam will not absorb water and is a very effective single layer material to insulate against heat.
Car Builders Insul-Layer is fantastic for roofs, door trims, fender cavities, van interiors, campers, trucks and various other equipment.
Insul-Layer is easy to install, with a peel and stick self-adhesive backing, just cut with scissors or a blade and stick it down with a Car Builders Application Roller. For best results use over Car Builders Stage 1 Sound Deadener.
