FAQs
How does QuikRefresh work?
QuikRefresh works by breaking down and removing the first layer of traffic film, dust and water marks that occur in between washes and allows them to be wiped away with no rinsing necessary.
Autoglym chemists have combined unique microemulsion technology and micelles to produce QuikRefresh.
Microemulsion lifts and suspends dirt particles, and micelles provide further lubrication so that the solution, having released and suspended the dirt particles, can then be wiped away without risk of marring, swirling or scratching surfaces.
The reaction is instantaneous, so that as soon as the solution-soaked cloth contacts and starts moving across the surface particles are lifted, encapsulated and wiped away.
Is QuikRefresh safe to use on all car surfaces?
Yes.
Can I use QuikRefresh on my wheels?
Yes, QuikRefresh is excellent for wheels, although we recommend washing the wheels last and all in one go, or separately because these areas are usually heavily contaminated.

When would I use QuikRefresh?
QuikRefresh should be used in-between regular washes to restore the just-washed finish by removing water marks, dust and light traffic film dirt.
If you keep your car under cover and wash it regularly, so that generally you only pick up dust and a little road grime, then QuikRefresh may well be the only car wash solution you need!
It’s also excellent for refreshing your car if it’s been ceramic coated, and if you’ve been caught in the rain, then QuikRefresh makes short work of this kind of dirt. The only time you wouldn’t use QuikRefresh is where there’s heavy soling, such as clumps of mud and heavy, caked on road grime or tar. This calls for a more traditional wash routine.

No, QuikRefresh is only suitable for external use.

Can QuikRefresh be used on motorcycles?

Can I apply QuikRefresh with a pressure washer?
No, QuikRefresh is designed for hand application from a bucket, and would be ineffective if used with a pressure washer.
Can QuikRefresh be used with other Microfibre Cloths or drying aids?
We recommend using an Autoglym InstaDry Drying Cloth for optimal results, since we’ve engineered QuikRefresh to work best in combination with the special features of InstaDry.
If you use other microfibre cloths, drying towels or chamois products, the results will not be the same.
It is possible to apply QuikRefresh using a microfibre wash mitt, then drying with InstaDry, however this isn’t our recommendation.
