Although the standard head-unit in most new cars will work very nicely with standard speakers, once a set of aftermarket speakers or a subwoofer has been installed, it might be best to install a dedicated aftermarket head-unit. The problem comes with modern cars that simply don’t have any provisions for an aftermarket head-unit to be installed. That’s where the Aerpro Facia kits come in.
This Aerpro Facia Kit is designed to suit BA and BF Ford Falcons that feature automatic transmission. It replaces a small component of the factory centre-console, and not only gives the consumer room to mount a single DIN head-unit, but also adds two USB ports, whilst retaining the Cigarette lighter. It also features a small pocket which can be used to store a wallet during journeys, or simply any electronic device that is being charged. The USB ports can charge at up to 0.5A each, and are ideal for charging phones, iPods, along with GPS systems and some portable video game systems. All the required mounting hardware is included.
