Ever since HSV released the Gen-F Supercharged GTS I have always wanted one. I bought this car when it was just over a year old and had less than 3,000km on the clock. It was completely standard when I bought it. It has been taken a long time to get it to the point it is today but every time I get in it and go for a drive it puts a smile on my face, the power is simply addictive.
What does the car mean to you?
Its a sense of achievement, its a challenge and a huge learning curve but we wouldn’t have it any other way, no matter what mood you in when you in the car you can help but smile.
Where is your favourite place to drive the vehicle?
I love driving the car along the coast during the warmer months.
Engine: 6.2L Supercharged V8 LSA
Engine Mods: Harrop Cold Air Intake, 1000cc Injectors, Harrop H02 Camshaft Kit, Pulley Boost Upgrade, Custom ECU Tune by Enhanced Automotive.
Exhaust: X-Force 4-into-1 1-7/8" Primary Long Tube 3" Outlet Headers with 3" Metallic Cat Converters, Stainless Steel Cat-Back System With Twin 3" Piping and Varex Rear Mufflers (whole system is Polished Stainless Steel). X-Force Smart Box is fitted to the system and allows full control over the exhaust.
Gearbox: 6-speed automatic transmission with Active Select (Standard GTS Auto)
Wheels/tyres: 20" x 8.5" (Front) & 20" x 9.5" (Rear) “Blade” forged alloy wheels in Satin Graphite. Michelin pilot sport 4s tyres
HP/kW Power Rating: Almost 800 Horsepower at the flywheel
What do you like best about your vehicle?
I love the exhaust system, having the capability to have it change to a quiet mode automatically using GPS is great and when I want to go for a cruise with it in silence I love being able to make it very quiet.
What would you like to do next on your vehicle?
I am happy with the car and the modifications now, I will now focus on looking after it.
What is your favourite Supercheap Auto product to use on your vehicle?
I love using the Bowdens Snow Job Cannon on the car.
